The Christian woman camp was established in 1969 by a group of churches in Georgia and Alabama. This outdoor ministry has grown into a multi-faceted ministry, with four camps on a 120-acre site. It is a popular venue location for a host of different groups. Over 11,000 people a year enjoy the wonderful campground and facilities of Woodland. There is recreation for people of all ages. The summer youth camps at the Woodland Christian camp are top-rated. There are programs for children from first grade to 12th grade. Each program is specific to the age group of the children.
