Pastor Donald Chavers grew up in Bulloch County, Georgia.  He accepted the call to the ministry in 1988.  In 2005, Elder Chavers became the Pastor of Agape Worship Center in Statesboro, GA.  Pastor Chauver’s ministry reaches beyond the Statesboro, GA, region.  He preaches and sings the Gospel abroad, including ministerial work in England.  His humor serves as a magnet in the ministry that draws people of all backgrounds, age groups, and ethnic groups in which he can present the Word of God in a way that touches people’s hearts.  Pastor Chavers is an advocate for his community and, in 2019, became a participant in “Dancing with the Statesboro Stars.”  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the local Bulloch County Habitat for Humanity.
