The Christian Renewal church in Brunswick, Georgia, also has ministries that impact this community.  The church is a nondenominational, spirit-filled church, and it is in existence for those outside the four walls of the church.  They have a sincere desire to help people know God in a greater way, find freedom, discover their purpose for their life, and make a difference in everyone they can. 

Christian Renewal church is currently pastored by Rev. Mark Linton, who has faithfully been in Christian service for 26 years.  This church was born in a time of spiritual awakening.  People were seeking God through prayer and hungry for the Holy Spirit.  The church membership quickly grew and had to move into larger buildings.  Through the years, the church has continually prospered, and it is known as a dwelling place for the presence of God.  People come because they know they’ve overseas something from the Lord at the Christian Renewal church. 

The church has powerful Sunday morning services and many other ministries that are making a difference in people’s lives.  There are small group cells in which church members can meet and a small group setting at people’s homes to study the word of God and encourage one another in the Lord.  There is a 21-day prayer ministry in which the church joins other churches for a time of prayer and intercession.  This has proved decisive during the global COVID-19 pandemic.  Prayer is still the answer. The church has teachings and programs to equip the Christian with the power of prayer. 

There is something for the children at the Christian Renewal church.  Every second Sunday of the month, there is a parent/child dedication service.  The children are not neglected but brought up in the ways of God, following the Scripture from Psalm 127:3, “children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward for him.”
