Ministries in Georgia is excited to feature Amy Grant.  Amy Grant was born on November 25, 1960, in Augusta, GA.  Amy Grant is happily married to Vince Gill, and they have one daughter.  Amy Grant has touched the lives of many people!   In 1967, Amy Grant’s family settled in Nashville, Tennessee.  In Nashville, Tennessee, she attended the Nashville’s Ashwood Church of Christ.  When Amy Grant was almost 16 years old, she was offered a recording contract with Word Records.  Since that time, Amy Grant has continued to sing, and her music has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.  In 1982, Amy sang the song “El Shaddai.”  The song was a hit single, and it was claimed as the Song of the Year, and even some said it was the song of the century.  The song was unique in that over half of the lyrics were the Hebrew names of God in the Old Testament.
